Croydon PBC Ltd trading as Croydon and Greenwich Clinics is delighted to have been nominated as a finalist in the Best Service category of the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2013/14. This is a fantastic recognition of progress and achievement for our procurement activity, especially given the level of competition from across the UK for these Awards. While we will not know whether we will go on to win the Award until 25 April, even achieving Finalist status is a great commendation for all involved.
The National GO Awards will be held on 25 April at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, in association with Procurex Live North.
Procurex Live is a series of regional events dedicated to supporting the delivery of public services by providing anyone buying for or supplying to the public sector.
For the past eleven years the National GO Awards have been the benchmark by which progress in this multibillion-pound sector has been measured.
“The National GO Awards are the most prestigious public procurement awards in the UK, and the 2013/14 Awards has seen intense competition across each of the categories. Given this, and an overall increase in the quantity and quality of submissions this year, to be nominated as a GO Awards finalist is a fantastic achievement – one which the organisation involved should be extremely proud of.” – Grahame Steed, Lead Judge, National GO Awards 2013/14.
